Love the disciple 5 string bass guitar kit great easy build great playing guitar

For the price and great reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. I got mine assembled and was surprised that it was not only assembled, but properly setup. String height was great. Intonation was done. Truss rod was adjusted and really close. I did have to retighten all the screws though. They were snug but needed one more ugga dugga in my opinion. But played right out of the box which I was not expecting.
My only complaint is the nut was not cut properly. Between the B and E it was 12.5mm. E to A 10.5mm, A to D 12.5mm, and D to G 10.5mm. So to me it was uncomfortable around the first couple of frets. So I installed a TUSQ XL PT-1425-00 nut with minimal effort and voila!!! Fantastic bass for a fantastic price. Gonna have to do some more shopping here.

I was so impressed with The Disciple 5 that I bought a second bass. This is the most value for my money. I will always AE on my radar for new products.
